Record Store Day at The Groove powered by Acme Radio Live in partnership with WeGo Transportation furthers their mission of discovery and preservation of Authentic Music City. They’ve also partnered with Do615 and Labcanna to feature a day of live local music that spans multiple genres in celebration of independent record stores nationwide.

Record Store Day is an annual event that was created in 2007 and held on a Saturday every April to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day brings together fans, artists, and the thousands of independent record stores across the world. This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store – the staff, the customers, and the artists – to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities. Special vinyl, CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day.
