KoKos Vegan Ice Cream opened last month in their Porter Road location. They’ve done pop-ups for quite a while now and people are falling in love with non-dairy Vegan Ice Cream. But why and what is it?

I don’t know about you, but dairy free ice cream has left many of us less than impressed. That’s why we made it our mission to change that! After extensive experimenting, traveling and tasting, we landed on our proprietary formula for the BEST vegan ice cream we’ve ever had. European gelato meets American hard ice cream. It really is in a class of its own.
Rich, creamy and smooth like a premium ice cream should be! All the right feels, made with all the right stuff…
So what’s in it?
Our base recipe consists of a 100 % organic coconut milk, organic evaporated cane sugar, pink Himalayan salt, sour salt and organic Indian cluster bean and a lot of love.
We rotate our flavors frequently to keep it fun! We use organic ingredients where we can and offer gluten free and soy free options.
Oh and one more thing! We chose to not only make our ice cream vegan, but also nut free! We wanted to create a low allergen ice cream that everyone can enjoy! *

WHY VEGAN ICE CREAM
Well, first we must be a bit gross but according to NutritionFacts.org “The elimination of all dairy products was found to cure constipation in up to 100% of kids tested, leading to a resolution of rectal inflammation and complications such as anal fissures.” So, the switch for our young ones to Vegan Ice Cream can be really helpful but what about adults?
